Exhibit donations

The Historical Society welcomes the donation of historically relevant documents, business records, photographs, maps, objects, and other publications pertaining to Tarpon Springs history. Please download and complete the Donation Receipt, describing your potential donation and its historical context.

Please bring the completed form with the objects you would like to submit for consideration to the Museum, either during our standard hours or by appointment. The Collections Committee will evaluate your items within the context of the Historical Society’s mission and notify you within 6 to 8 weeks of our decision. Items that are declined will be held for you to pick up at the museum.

Object Presented By

The Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society collects documents, photographs, business records, objects, maps, audio and video recordings, art, rare and vintage books and publications that are relevant to Tarpon Springs’ area history. All potential donations are reviewed by the Collections Committee as to their relevance to the Society’s historic collection before a final decision is made to include them in the collection. The Committee meets frequently. Within 6 to 8 weeks, you should receive a letter informing you of the Committee’s decision. If the Committee declines to accept your donation based on the criteria described above, it will be held at the Depot Museum and returned to you at your convenience. The Society appreciates your willingness to donate to its historic collection.
